I came here for dinner – takeaway: Food: It’s just okay, nothing extraordinary. It’s your typical gepuk, but no complaints. It’s about as good as it gets. The sambal and other add-ons are decent. If you’re curious to try gepuk, I’d say this place is a good option since there isn’t much difference between this and other gepuk spots. I won’t comment on the drinks as I didn’t order any, but they do have a variety of options, including coffee, hence the name, which is nice. Service: The staff are well-trained, courteous, and professional. I waited around 12 minutes for my takeaway because the chicken was being cooked, which was reasonable. The numbering system is organized and helpful. Cleanliness: Overall, the cleanliness is acceptable. However, the table I waited at hadn’t been cleaned, there was a bit of food waste left behind, but nothing major. Space, Atmosphere & Vibe: It’s quite a chill spot. The noise level really depends on the other customers. There are plenty of tables and waiting seats, which I find convenient for a shop of this size. The kedai itself looks clean, cozy, and visually appealing. Price: Meals range from RM9.99 to RM13, which I think is standard for gepuk, similar to what you’d find around KL or Selangor. Overall: It’s a typical gepuk place, but the variety of drinks is a nice touch. Definitely a solid spot for a quick bite or takeaway meal.

very calming place , delicious food and drinks. u can choose the level of the spiciness and type of chicken you wanted (crispy or original) overall it is very good !! there's variable drinks also such as matcha , choco n coffee and milkshake (strawberry) as well.

Not from around here. Just skimmed through Maps and spotted this cafe. Had a very pleasant experience here. Welcomed warmly by the person by the counter. He greeted me and talked to me in a very polite and mannerful way. Food was quick. Under 10 minutes. He apologises for being late but I told him brother, this is not late (oh and their toilet is very clean and comfy to use) Atmosphere is very chill. Good air conditioning. Not too crowded. I am by any mean a coffee expert but I know a good drink when I drink one! I add 2 pump of syrup with no extra cost. Hope this cafe flourish and go further. Im not a fan of ayam gepuk but my wife is so I am definitely bringing her here next time.

How is the coffee? It was meet my taste and perfectly brewed. I tried their buttercream coffee, and it was one of the best I've had. For lunch, I ordered the set menu, which included a rice, vegetables, tempe and 2 pieces of krispy chicken. Everything was delicious and spicy. The atmosphere was suitable for relaxing or catching up with friends. The staff was friendly and attentive, checking in just the right amount without being intrusive. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of food and service. Definitely coming back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend it for coffee lovers and those looking for a satisfying lunch!"

I have visited Kopi Dua Ayam Gepuk Artisan twice, on Sunday, 12th January 2025, & Tuesday, 14th January 2025. The shop operates daily from 10.30 am to 10.30 pm This shop has a charming minimalist concept with simple furniture & a neutral color palette, creating a clean & uncluttered atmosphere. The open & spacious seating arrangements, coupled with minimal decor, enhance the calming vibe. It's an excellent place to enjoy meals with family, catch up with old friends, or even spend quality time with your partner due to its peaceful & non-noisy ambiance. Service Based on my two visits, i found the service to be moderate. During my first visit, the cashier staff seemed unsure & took quite some time to provide the correct change, even though the POS system had displayed the exact amount. On my second visit, i noticed some inefficiency at the counter, as the cashier was slow to assist customers standing at the counter ready to place their orders. Food & Drinks First Visit: I ordered the Set B Classic with Kopi Mocha & chose the 'Pedas' (spicy) level. 1. Set B Classic: The portion size of the chicken was satisfying - not too small & the meat was tender. The sambal served was slightly inadequate for the rice portion. However, the staff was accommodating when i requested extra sambal. The sambal itself was delicious, spicy, & had a great flavor. I would recommend adding a touch more saltiness to enhance its richness & ‘umph’ factor. 2. Kopi Mocha: As a coffee enthusiast, i found the mocha to be delightful. It had a well-balanced blend of bitter coffee & rich chocolate, creating a harmonious taste. The coffee wasn’t too bitter or too light - it struck the perfect balance. The richness of the chocolate complemented the coffee, making it a memorable drink. I’ll definitely order it again! Second Visit: I ordered the Set B Crispy with Kopi Vanilla & chose the 'Biasa' (mild spicy) level. 1. Set B Crispy: The crispy chicken was exceptional! It reminded me of McDonald's spicy chicken, with its crispiness & flavorful spices. Just like my first visit, i had to request extra sambal, which the staff gladly provided. The sambal paired perfectly with the crispy chicken & rice, making it a dish worth ordering again. Even though i selected the 'Biasa' spice level, the sambal still had a noticeable kick of spiciness. However, it was milder compared to the 'Pedas' level sambal i tried during my first visit, which i found very spicy but enjoyable. 2. Kopi Vanilla: The vanilla flavor was light & pleasant, blending seamlessly with the coffee. It had a smooth sweetness that complemented the overall taste. While i found it enjoyable, i personally prefer the mocha for its richer & more robust flavor, which is more suited to my taste. Fourth Visit: I tried the Strawberry Milkshake. 1. Strawberry Milkshake: The strawberry milkshake tasted bitter, & i couldn’t finish it. Hopefully, it was just a one-off issue. Suggestions for Improvement Here are some areas where the shop could improve: 1. Soy Sauce Availability: Instead of keeping the soy sauce bottles at the cashier counter, consider placing small bottles on every table for customer convenience. 2. Free wifi: Offering wifi would attract students or professionals who might want to work or study at the shop. 3. Music Ambiance: Playing soothing jazz or bossa nova music would further enhance the shop’s relaxing & cozy vibe. 4. Order Notification System: Implementing a Restaurant Pager Buzzer System could improve efficiency for both dine-in & takeaway customers. The current method of calling out order numbers can sometimes be ineffective, as customers might be distracted & miss their numbers being called. Overall Kopi Dua Ayam Gepuk Artisan offers a wonderful minimalist shop experience with delicious food & beverages. Despite a few areas for improvement, it’s a fantastic place to relax, enjoy a good meal, & create memorable moments with loved ones. I look forward to returning for another cup of their amazing mocha & crispy chicken!
